Thanks for the quick response!!
the prompt I am at is "X:\Windows\System32>" I entered verifier/reset as you first suggested and received response "No settings were changed." Then entered "shutdown/r/t 0" and i receive the response "shutdown/r/t 0 is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
Prior to your message i had tried entering "wputil reboot" per another person's answer to a person's previous posted question.
Hey there!
Nice to meet you! I'm Randy, an Independent Advisor. Hi Jen, I understand how frustrating it is to be stuck in a restart loop due to a BSOD like “Driver Verifier DMA Violation.” let me help you out with some troubleshooting suggestion that migh fix this issue.
We need to disable Driver Verifier so your system can boot normally.
In the X:\windows\system32\cmd.exe window, type the following command and press Enter:
verifier /reset
If it says successful, great! Now restart the PC by typing:
shutdown /r /t 0
This should reboot your PC normally. If it still goes into a BSOD loop, let me know.
I look forward to hear back from you and ready to work together until we find a solution.
Wishing you the best!
