If not in the office yet but I'm fairly sure that class is not needed for swm to work. As such i would turn it off.
SCCM Hardware Inventory at WMI Class SMS_InstalledExecutable takes hours to complete
Hi colleagues,
we have some User who tell us that WMI Process is causing high CPU usage for hours. It is annoying because CPU fan is running.
Investiagting this problems I found out on some that Hardware Inventory was running and stuck for hours at WMI Class SMS_InstalledExecutable.
It takes hours to complete.
I cannot turn of this class, because I read it is used for SoftwareMetering, and this I need.
I tried to temporarly disable all software metering rules, but the issue is still existing.
What can be the problem?
BR, David

For more details about SMS_InstalledExecutable, we may refer to this article: SMS_InstalledExecutable Client WMI ClassIn addition, we may try to close SMS_InstalledExecutable through the following ways: Config Manager Console / COMPLIANCE and ASSETS / ASSETS INTELIGENCE (right Click / EDIT INVENTORY CLASSES.).
