The server was unable to save the form at this time SharePoint 2016

Hi,

I encountered this problem in certain Team-site, whereby adding user permission to list or adding new item to list will return the error :

"Sorry , we're having trouble reaching the server." and

"The server was unable to save the form at this time. Please try again." respectively.

This error only happen in some browsers such as Chrome and Microsoft Edge. but on Internet Explorer, it is working as per normal.

    If the error is occurring for random/specific users and not everyone in your organization, please perform the following troubleshooting：

    • Please make sure users granted library/list-specific permissions also have read access to the hosting site.
    • Check server event logs and ULS logs to see more detailed error messages
    • Test other site collections or web applications
    • Clear browser cache
