I have been having BSODs every now and then and this is the XML view of the most recent error code details. No problems with memory whenever I do a memory test. No overclocking is enabled, BIOS is updated and at default settings, and temps are not at critical levels. I've also done a system scan for corrupted files and reinstalled/updated all relevant drivers I've included a link for the .dmp files for each BSOD as well as the most recent Kernel-Dump file.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard, a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today, my timezone is UTC +8.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to assist. Upon analyzing and checking the DMP files, the error you have is GenuineIntel.sys, This is a processor error; it is either the processor is getting hardware errors or it is overheating. Moreover, kindly follow the steps below for us to fix the issue:

Method 1. Run the Intel Diagnostic tool:

    Go to this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/downloa...

Then download and run the tool.

Suppose there is any failure on the test. In that case, that means there is a hardware issue on your processor, which you need to contact Intel support or a local technician for the next step, which might be a processor replacement or board, depending on the diagnosis of the hardware.

Note: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

Method 1. Do a clean boot:

A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
    • On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
    • Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
    • Close Task Manager.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.

Method 2. Run memory diagnostic tool: The memory diagnostic tool is a RAM test to check if there are any issues with RAM that cause the processor to malfunction.

    • Press Windows key + R, then type in mdsched.exe hit OK, then restart the device.

Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the processor or do a re-paste of thermal paste to optimize the processor.

Let me know how it goes, and I hope that helps.

    Bernard

    Hello Bernard,

Thanks for the reply, I've run the Intel Diagnostic Tool and it passed successfully. I've also done a clean boot and run the memory diagnostic tool and no problems came up. I'll run some intensive programs and keep an eye on the core temps and update you if I encounter another BSOD.

Hi, thank you for that information, and yes, kindly update me. Moreover, if the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the processor or do a re-paste of thermal paste to optimize the processor.

So I've applied a new layer of thermal paste, run 2 different stress tests, and had some CPU heavy programs/games for a few hours and nothing has come up yet. I'm hoping at this point that it was indeed just the thermal paste and that if I get another BSOD with the same error code I'll assume that it is hardware errors and take it to a technician. Thanks again for all the help.
