Getting BSOD error 0x000000d1?

My new PC that I had built suddenly had a BSOD while i was just gaming. Previously I had a BSOD about two days ago and when I checked Event viewer then it said it was caused by Armoury Crate. The BSOD happened around the same time as well, both 11:40.

Crash dump

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

This minidump does not mention any third-party drivers. Only a generic system driver.

    I suggest doing the following:

    • Download the latest chipset driver from the link below and install it.

    https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/03CHIPSET...

(Extract the ZIP file, double-click the file "AsusSetup" to run it, and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.)

    • I noticed that the motherboard BIOS is outdated. I suggest you update it by following Asus's instructions.

Then, see if the system will work stable.

If the BSOD occurs again after doing this, share the minidump it created. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.

    Driver source: https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/mo...

I await your reply. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.

Feel free to ask back any questions.

Hi, i got another BSOD again even after doing the steps, but this time the error message seems to be different?

    Crash Dump May

I got an error message IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, when i checked Event Viewer I noticed a lot of error logs and messages right before the BSOD.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

The minidumps indicate the driver "nvlddmkm.sys" as the cause of the crashes. This driver belongs to your Nvidia graphics card.

I suggest performing a clean install of the Nvidia driver as instructed below.

Download the latest driver for your graphics card from the Nvidia website. Then, use the free DDU tool to remove the current driver. Then, install the latest driver using the installer you downloaded.

(I suggest disconnecting from the internet during the entire procedure.)

    DDU: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-dr...

    Nvidia driver download: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/

Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.

See if the system will work stable after this.

If the BSOD occurs again after doing this, share the minidump it created. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.

If you need a tutorial for using DDU, I recommend the video below.
