Hello,

I'm getting messages when i refresh a query that calls up a variable which is formed in Excel and when refreshing a query that collects data from an Oracle Database through a sql in the Query.

The messages that I get are in attachment.
The Title of the first is Microsoft Office has identified a potential Security concern. The operation connects to an external data source.
The second Native Database Query Do you approve running this native query ?

Can someone tell me If i can get rid of these messages ? I want to run the queries automaticcaly so i don't want popup messages that interrupts the automated process.

Thank You In Advance.

    Hi @Marc Bergmans

For the 2nd point (Native Database Query). Within Excel > Data (tab) > Get Data > Query Options > GLOBAL > Security > Uncheck "Require user approval for new database queries"
NB: Options are per installation. So, if you share your workbook with friends/colleagues they must uncheck the same option

For the 1st point (Excel Security Notice) I'm not sure at all but it if doesn't go away after applying the above change try, within Excel > File > More > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > External Content > Security settings for Data Connections > Choose option "Enable all Data Connections (not recommended)"
