Hi,

Recently one of our users sent a message to dynamic distribution group via Outlook on the web. When received message is opened in Outlook on the web (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari), it is displayed as it should be. But when message is opened in Outlook on Windows and Mac, part of the text has a yellow background added.
As message contains a confidential information, I blurred both pictures, but you can still see the problem.

This is how message is displayed in Outlook on the web.

This is how message is displayed in Outlook on Windows and Mac.

I have no idea why this is happening and what triggers it. Maybe someone has an explanation?
Thanks!

    Hi @Tomass Pētersons ,

Did this issue occur on all Outlook client that received this message in your organization? And have you installed any add-ins there?

Based on my tests, I have tried to send some test messages via owa to a distribution group for testing, but it wouldn't display any yellow background texts on Outlook client, so in order to further confirm your issue, it's suggested to send the same message via owa to other accounts in your Outlook client to check.

In order to avoid the interference of any add-ins, it's suggested to disable your add-ins temporarily and re-send the message for testing.

Also, in the point of Outlook client, the auto format option may affect this issue, we could try to check the settings and uncheck the option under the autoformat settings to test if the issue has any differences(File>Options>Mail>Spelling and autocorrect>autocorrect options>autoformat)

If your issue has any update, please feel free to post back.
