Unfortunately, this only resulted in the original error. I did follow each step.

    C:\Windows\System32>DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:I:\Sources\install.wim /LimitAccess Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.26100.1150 Image Version: 10.0.26100.4351 [==========================100.0%==========================]

    Error: 0x800f0915

The repair content could not be found anywhere. Check the internet connectivity or use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the image. For more information on specifying a source location, see https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=243077. The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

    Hi Chad,

Thanks for reaching out Microsoft Community Forum. I totally understand your Windows had a problem error and restoring system files. I'll be happy to assist you with the information on what you can do.

Sometimes, this can happen after failed update, a language pack issue, or system file corruption. That could also be the reason of random shutdowns or restarts.

Here are the steps to fix this:

** Step1: Run SFC to fix files

    • Open Command Prompt as Administrator
    • Press Windows + R
    • Type cmd
    • Instead of just Enter
    • Press Ctrl + Shift + Enter at the same time
    • Accept permission
    • Then type sfc /scannow
    • And press Enter
    • Then wait to finish

** Step2: Use a Windows ISO to repair

    • Download the Windows ISO from Microsoft
    • Make sure it matches your version
    • Double click to mount
    • Note the drive letter (like D:).
    • Then type

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:D:\Sources\install.wim /LimitAccess

    • replace D: if needed

** Step3: Clear Windows Update cache but optional

    • Type one by one in Command Prompt:

    net stop wuauserv

    net stop bits

    ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

    net start wuauserv

    net start bits

    ** Step4: Check for updates

    • Go to Settings
    • Then Windows Update
    • And click Check for updates

** Step5: Update drivers and BIOS:

    • Go to your device maker’s website (like Dell, HP, etc.).
    • Then download
    • And Install the current driver and BIOS for your device

I hope this helps and works for you.

    Best Regards,
