It sounds like the Windows 11 update may have caused a serious input or accessibility glitch.
Restart in Safe Mode:
1: Hold Shift while clicking Restart on the login screen or Start menu.
2: Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart, then press 4 to enter Safe Mode.
3: Check if the keyboard works normally there.
