Hi,
I created an ADF in the region Germany West and now notice that Data Flows aren't available in this region. Would it be possible to change the region of my ADF or do I have to create the same Data Factory in the correct region?

Hello @David van der Eng ,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

Unfortunately, you cannot change the region of the ADF.

Note: If you want to move your Data Factory to a different region, the best way is to create a copy in the targeted region, and delete the existing one.

For more details, refer Copy or clone a data factory in Azure Data Factory.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.

Hey @David van der Eng ,
Unfortunately it is not possible to move the ADF from 1 region to another.
You can extract the ARM template from the ADF created and import it into the ADF created in the new region or map the new ADF to the GIT repo in which you created the original ADF.

Note: you cannot create the ADF with the same name (even though created in diff RG or diff region)as name is universally unique
