when I first connected the monitor I accidentally selected the option where the screen is visible only on the connected monitor, now my monitor won't connect and when I connect it nothing is visible on my laptop screen. do you know how I can restore the previous screen settings?

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.
In this case, you can press the Windows key + P > hold the Windows key and press the key twice more to switch to duplicate mode.
Remember, you have to be in Windows booted.
