Is your user account a full administrator account on the PC, or did you make any change to your account that may have set it to a standard account with no administrator privileges?

Are you able to use these steps to perform a system restore to a previous date?
Click the power button on your Start menu.
Press the Shift Key and click Restart
Your PC will boot into the Windows Recovery Environment
Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - System Restore
Check to see if you have a restore point you can go back to
Yes, I am the only one on this computer with no administrator password set up. I am unable to get to that point due the the administrator password window pop up. There is no administrator password set up.
