Hello,

I have just opened up a free tier account in azure. Since it is a free tier, will it lead me on to pay extra cost on the below case?

Need to create VM and delete the VM once used. Again Create VM tomorrow for some purpose and delete it later on. I could see a limited amount of vCPUs attached to my subscription. By doing the above action will it retain the same CPU or it will be for one-time use.

Is there any limitation on the number of times that we Spinning up VMs?

Thanks,
Nelson

    @NELSONDURAISAMY AROCKIYASAMY

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A, Thank you for posting your here!

    With the Azure Free Account, eligible customers receive ₹14,500 of credits which can be used within the first 30 days on most Azure services. Any unused monthly credits cannot be carried over to subsequent months and cannot be transferred to other Azure subscriptions. In addition, you get free monthly amounts of two groups of services: Popular services, which are free for 12 months and 25+ other services that are free always. Free services are based on resource and region availability.

    You can delete and create VMs multiple time. Here is the tip to save credits Stop and deallocate the VM from the portal once you complete the task on the VM

    Hope this helps!

    You won't have to pay any cost with free account. Once you have used up all the credit balance, subscription gets disabled.

    If you upgrade subscription from free type to pay-as-you-go, only then it will charge the credit card.

    With the free balance, you can almost use all services and many times.
