RDP error 0x3000008 "A problem occurred while connecting to the remote resource"
Good day!
When connecting via RDP, an error appears: 'A problem occurred while connecting to the remote resource'. The error code is: 0x3000008, extended error code 0x0. This is a Windows 11 Pro domain computer. There are no problems from other computers in this network and domain with Win 10 and Win 11.
We have turned off the firewall, cleaned the registry as indicated in the instructions and similar topics, but nothing helps.
Please,help us.

Thank you for confirming. I'm sorry for the late reply, I'm in a different timezone but I'm back now to help.
Just to discard this solution, could you please try the following provided by "R Admin"?
"Some users have this issue when migrating to Windows 11. The fix is to add in a Registry Key in HKEY_CURRENTUSER/Software/Microsoft/TerminalServerClient of DWORD type, named RDGClientTransport, with a value of 1."

Please, can you confirm if the current Windows 11 Pro installation has been upgraded from Windows 10? Or was it a fresh Windows 11 installation?

2025-02-26T06:14:34+00:00 The error code 0x3000008 you’re encountering indicates a generic issue where the Remote Desktop client cannot connect to the remote resource. To address this on your Windows 11 Pro domain computer, consider the following:
- Network Connection: Ensure your device has a stable internet connection. Verify that other network services are functioning correctly to rule out connectivity issues.
- Remote Desktop Gateway Settings: Confirm that the RD Gateway settings are correctly configured. Misconfigurations can lead to proxy disconnection errors.
- Port Configuration: Check that the necessary ports for Remote Desktop are open and properly configured. Specifically, ensure that port 443 is open for both TCP and UDP traffic, as restricting it to only one can cause connection issues.
- Remote Desktop Settings: Verify that the remote system allows connections from devices running any version of Remote Desktop. Enabling “Network Level Authentication” can sometimes prevent connections from certain clients.
If the issue persists after these steps, consider consulting with your network administrator or IT support to delve deeper into domain-specific configurations that might be affecting the connection.
