Every time I turn on my computer I look at task manager and see that the windows command processor task is running and is using up a significant amount of my ram, how do I fix this?

I ran FRST scan and these are my log files, I would appreciate a fixlist.txt for these problems

From admin Command Prompt, please run these commands:

    • rd /s /q "%LocalAppData%\Updates"
    • schtasks /delete /tn "\Windows Service Task" /f
    • "C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe" -SignatureUpdate -MMPC
    • powershell -command "get-mpcomputerstatus; get-mppreference"

Pls post a screenshot of the output window.

I happened upon your above instructions and want to know if this would be safe to run on my laptop win 10 home? Thanks for your reply...

Yes, those commands can be run on Windows 10/11 Home edition. The commands remove the Run.vbs malware and its scheduled task. Is that the exact issue you're facing?
