I have an MVC app in development, updated packages thru nuget now bootstrap tab-content not working

Question

the last nuget app updates included jquery 3.5.0.1 to jquery 3.5.1, now bootstrap tab content widget does not move from tab to tab, I replaced the app with a backup of the same pre update code and updated everything except the jquery update and everything is working, I understand that i perhaps should leave it there but just wanted to ask if anyone had any ideas.
