Installation failure

Hi, I’m experiencing issues with installing Windows 11 on my new computer. Initially, I successfully installed Windows 11 and used it without any problems. However, after shutting down the PC for the first time, I was unable to boot into Windows again. I decided to perform a clean installation through USB, but now the process fails each time. During the installation, the PC goes to a black screen at a certain point and doesn't proceed.

Could you please help me troubleshoot this problem?

Do you think this is hardware related or am I doing something wrong during the installation?

    Hi Sumit,

Thank you for your quick response and helpful suggestions.

I’ve reseated all the hardware components, and I’ve also tested the system with only the keyboard, mouse, and display connected. Additionally, I updated the BIOS to the latest version (though I was already using the most recent version prior to this - I re-applied the update).

Unfortunately, the issue persists. The installation still fails, and the screen goes black around the same point each time.

Is there anything else I can try to resolve this problem? Also, is there a way to diagnose which specific component might be causing this issue?

    Hi Dominik,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

Apologies for any inconvenience you are experiencing. I am happy to help you today.

Usually, it is a hardware issue. Try simplifying the configuration by keeping the Keyboard, Nouse, and display. Reseat every piece of hardware by removing and re-adding it, like RAM.

Ensure the BIOS firmware is fully updated.
