Are my older Windows Server Backup gone?

Windows Server Backup has been running for a couple of years on my Windows 2012 R2 Server. I can see a list of current backups. It display the "oldest backup" date being back in 2018. However, when I click on "Restore" it only shows dates since January 1. Are those older backups just gone? Where are they? Perhaps they just don't show up in the list of available backups to restore. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. To be clear, I never got any notification that the disk was getting full or or any errors. The current backups look fine.

    Hi,
As far as I know, different apps have different backup policy. May I ask what application you use for the backup?
