Hello,

Issue is with Microsoft Edge. When launched, I receive a "Can't open this page" error, due to the Process Mitigation Policy. It appears that I should be able to address the issue by purchasing the newer version of Symantec Endpoint Protection.

However, in the meantime....we have a user that needs to be able to use Microsoft Edge.

I have tried adding the current registry entry:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Edge
DWORD: RendererCodeIntegrityEnabled
Value: 0

This did not appear to help.

As a temporary workaround, I created a shortcut to Edge using the following:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --disable-features=RendererCodeIntegrity
This at least allows the user to run Edge.

I am checking for any registry entry or Local Group Policy entry that may work for this interim purpose.

Any assistance would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Rudy

    Hi @Rudolf Amarlapudi

The registry entry you used is wrong. You can add the following registry entry to fix the issue:

    Key: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge
    Name: RendererCodeIntegrityEnabled
    Type: DWORD (32-bit)
    Value: 0

Adding this registry key resolved my problem, which is identical to the one reported in the original issue.
    Thank you, much appreciated.
