1) How to migrate an SSAS 2012 Cube to SSAS 2019 Cube. ?

Can we migrate directly from SSAS 2012 to SSAS 2019 or should we first migrate to SSAS 2017 and then to SSAS 2019.

2) What features of SSAS 2012 of MDX Cubes are not supported in SSAS 2019 ?

Please help

    Hi,

    1. You do not need to intermediately upgrade to 2017 version, a direct upgrade is supported.
      1. There are some discountinued/deprecieated features , for your reference, and they are listed at : Deprecated features SQL Server 2016 and SQL Server 2017 Deprecated features.

    Regards,
    Lukas

    1) You can do an in-place upgrade of the existing installation: Upgrade SQL Server => Analysis Services
You can upgrade directly from 2012 to 2019, see Supported version & edition upgrades (SQL Server 2019)

    2) I am not aware of any changes in multidimension databases / MDX
