Viruses on Computer

Hello,

I believe that I may have been the victim of malware on my computer. I have installed/run malwarebytes on my computer, but I'd like to be absolutely sure that there's nothing shady on my pc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also have installed Farbar Recovery Search from another post on here. I don't really know what it does, but I can run that program if needed/any other programs that would help.

Everything looks good in the logs. Just check whether any unwanted exclusions are set in Windows Defender.

    • Windows Security -> Virus & threat protection
    • Virus & threat protection settings -> Manage settings -> Add or remove exclusions

To remove the Farbar scanner you can just delete it and the C:\FRST folder.

If you want to run another scan now or in the future, run ESET Online Scanner - press the One Time Scan button.

Please run a scan with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) and share your logs.

    https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-recovery-scan-tool/

    • If your computer's language is not English, rename FRST64.exe to FRST64English.exe
    • Run the tool, leave the default settings, and press Scan.
    • Zip the logs, FRST.txt and Addition.txt, then upload to a cloud storage service like OneDrive, Google Drive or gofile.io
    • Post the share link.
