    Hello! I'm Manoel Barros!

    Try this:

    1. Open Notepad > Create a new file > Paste the Text below.

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectX]

    "InstalledVersion"=hex:00,00,00,09,00,00,00,00

    "Version"="4.09.00.0904"

    1. Click File > Save As > Choose a location to save the notepad > In the Name, type "directx" (without quotes) > Save.
    2. In File Explorer, click View > Show > File name extensions.
    3. Right-click the saved file > Rename > Delete everything and type "directx.reg" > Click Yes on the Warning message.
    4. Double-click the downloaded file > Restart your PC.

If you problem persists, try to create a user profile. Maybe your user is corrupted. Create a user to confirm whether the issue is in your current user profile or system. Follow the steps below:

    1. Go to System Settings (CTRL + I) > Select ''Accounts'' > 'Family and other users'' > ''Add another person to this PC'.
    2. On the Accounts screen, choose the option ''I don’t have that person’s login information' > Then select ''Add a user without a Microsoft account''.
    3. Click on the newly created user > Click "Change account type" > Under Account Type, change the option "Default User" to "Administrator" > Click "OK".
    4. Enter the username, and password (optional, leave blank if you do not want to put password) > Click ''Next'.
    5. Press the shortcut CTRL + ALT + DEL (DELETE) > Select ''Exit'' option > On the Login screen, choose the new user created.
    6. See if the problem will occur with this new user.

I look forward to your feedback on the issue! If your problem is solved, please review the topic so I can help other users with this issue.

This folder is created during the installation of DirectX.

Please send me the DirectX and System error log.

    1. Press WINDOWS + X > Select "Event Viewer" > Expand Windows Logs tab (Left Side).
    2. Right-click the "System" log > Save Events As > Put the log name of "System" and save it in an accessible place.

Now upload this file to a cloud, such as OneDrive, and send me a link. Follow the steps below:

    1. Upload System Log in OneDrive. The link below shows how to do this.

    1. When uploading, share the files via a link. In the tutorial below you have the steps explained.
    • Release access to "Anyone with link can access".
    • Don’t worry, the logs do not contain personal information from your computer.

    Hi

So far i have tried re-installing the driver and window 11 fully, but still got the internal error.

i checked the error log as the pop window says. one of the error message i found is:

Unable to iterate through C:\WINDOWS\system32\DirectX\WebSetup\Apr2005_d3dx9_25_x64.cab. The file may be damaged.

after that, i got DirectXUpdateInstallPlugIn() failed.

While looking up the system32 folder, i couldn't find the DirectX folder

    Hello!

Are you using any third-party antivirus software? Some software may have blocked or deleted important DirectX components for some reason.

If you are using any third-party antivirus software, disable or uninstall it, and then try installing DirectX End-User Runtime Web again.

Another solution is to reinstall the video driver, which uses DirectX.

    1. Download the driver from the official website of your graphics card manufacturer.

    Nvidia:

    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/

    AMD:

    https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers...

    Intel:

    https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/downloa...

NOTE: This is not a Microsoft website, but it seems to provide accurate and secure information. Be aware of ads that may advertise products often classified as PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Search for any product advertised on the site before deciding to download and install it.

    1. When you download the Video Driver, disconnect your PC from the Internet > Search "Device Manager" in the search bar > Click on icon > Expand the "Video adapters" tab.
    2. Right-click on the first video device > Select "Uninstall device" > Check "Try to remove this device’s driver" > Confirm.

NOTE: Your screen will search, it is normal, do not worry!

    1. Restart the computer.
    2. Install the downloaded driver > Choose 'Express Installation' option and proceed > When installing the driver fully, restart the computer.
    3. Connect to the internet and check if the problem has been solved.
