    Hello Delta One Gen X,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

It looks like you are encountering a common issue with the Copilot app, where it displays the message: "It's not you, it's me. Something went wrong. I probably just need time to refresh."

Here are a few troubleshooting steps that might help resolve this issue:

    • Change the network environment
You can try changing to another network environment, such as a Wi-Fi hotspot provided by your phone.
    • Reset the network.
Search CMD, find and open the command prompt (select run as administrator)
In the command box that pops up, enter the following commands in order (after each line has finished running, enter the next one)
      ipconfig /release
      ipconfig /renew
      ipconfig /flushdns
      ipconfig /registerdns
      netsh int ip reset
      netsh winsock reset
      netsh winhttp reset proxy
Restart the computer to see if the problem can be solved.
    • Reset network settings
Tap Windows Key+R, type inetcpl.cpl, open Internet Options, click Advanced, and check "Use SSL 3.0" and "Use TLS 1.0", "Use TLS 1.1", "Use TLS 1.2", reboot the computer after the application to see if the problem can be solved.
    • Reset Proxy Server Settings
Also in Internet Options, go to Connections -- LAN Settings, and check whether the Proxy Server column is checked, if so, uncheck it and click OK, restart your computer after applying it to see if the problem can be solved.
    • Change DNS
Tap Windows Key+R and type ncpa.cpl
Click on the name of the network you are now connected to, open the Network Status window, click Properties, and then double-click Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) in the Network Properties window.
Manually set the DNS servers to "4.2.2.1" and "4.2.2.2" and restart the computer to see if the problem is solved.

Kindly please share your results with us. We will provide you with further assistance based on your feedback.

    Best Regards,

William.Y | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

sometimes we are at the whims of the powers that are running our lives. Meaning we are essentiall at a terminal where we are captives in a gilded cage. so maybe someone might notice our plight and effect some kin or sort of change. Thanks, thho for think that we have some sort of control over our computer usage
