    Hi

    Thanks for reaching out

I have tried some of the solutions I haven't yet tried from the ones you provided but it's still the same. Thanks anyway

Just hoping Microsoft would fix it with the next windows update.

    Hi,

Does the issue still persist? Since I did the update on Saturday, I’ve also been experiencing the same problem. On one computer, I can only access the server via the IP, while on the other, it only works with the name. However, on the one where I can access via the name, the files don’t update, and new files don’t appear.

    Here's what fixed mine:

Step 1. Right Click Start Button

    Step 2. Choose Terminal (Admin)

Step 3. In the command line window, type the following command and press Enter to turn off the SMB signing requirement:

    Set-SmbClientConfiguration -RequireSecuritySignature $false

Step 4. Type Y to confirm the operation.

Step 5. Input the following command and press Enter to disable guest fallback:

    Set-SmbClientConfiguration -EnableInsecureGuestLogons $true Step

Step 6. Input Y to confirm.

Step 7. Reboot Computer [I don't know if this is strictly necessary but I did it]

I didn't even have to enter my creds in order to access my two home servers.

Got this from a YouTube video posted in 10/2024 at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElYZjC7QNpc  Edited the process a bit to reflect what I did.
