Hi,

After installing Sharepoint Server 2019, when I tried to go to Security > Configure service accounts, I got the message "Sorry, this site hasn't been shared with you."

I'm using the same account I used to install sharepoint, which is member of Farm Administrators.

What might be causing this issue?

Thank you

    @PedroSoares-4915,

    I want to add more additional information about your issue.

    From your description, when you click "Configure service accounts" option, a sharing error occurs.

    For this issue, run the browser as administrator, then switch to the CA site, click the option again, error disappearred.

    We could also open the SharePoint 2019 Central Administration page as administrator directly to avoid error.

    Way to go MS - when this problem occurs, you can ONLY access it via IE running as Administrator. Edge is USELESS and half of the stuff in 2019 DOESN'T WORK. What a great upgrade!

    Wow it's tricky and I'm not liking it. It's related to Browser and DNS issues it seems.

    I tried with the full server and domain name and it works on Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge, oh my machine.
    Doesn't work with Edge inside the server. Works with IE without the domain name.

    I've been able to access it under specific conditions, so it's a step forward.

    Hi, I found the answer in another post. The account must be registered as a Managed Account.

    This post helped: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/62530/hi-guru-sharepoint-2019-when-i-try-to-go-to-secure.html

    HI @JulieWang-MSFT,

    Yes I did. I've recorded it and I'm sharing it here

    This is strange since I am 100% sure I was able to access it in the beginning of the week.
