My battery saver mode does not turn on automically even when setting it to "Always" I always have to turn it on manually. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried resetting the battery saver settings or restoring the device's power management settings to default to see if that resolves the issue?

    Hello,

The "Battery saver" feature depends on your power plan. If you (or a "performance tuning" application) have changed the power plan, the setting may not work.

Please press Windows+R and enter "powercfg.cpl". Select the "Balanced" power plan, select "Change plan settings", and select "Restore default settings for this plan". Confirm, and try setting Battery saver again. See whether the issue persists.

    Hello Matthew Lavilla,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Microsoft Answers Community.

Based on the description, it seems that the computer is not using battery power.

The battery saver feature only activates automatically when the computer runs on battery, so please unplug the computer, and see whether the issue still persists.

We look forward to your response.

    Best Regards,
