Lost BitLocker key

I have an external hard drive that is BitLocker protected with my and scrapped model of my office laptop, my system admin tells me that the recovery key is not saved on my account. How can I unlock the hard drive and retrieve data?

    Thanks for letting me know.

    It is not possible because BitLocker uses strong encryption but you can try to contact to any Data Recovery center.

    Unfortunately, It is very hard to recover data without recovery key. Without recovery key it is not possible to retrieve the data. Please reach out to link below for more detail about recovery key.
