Hi David,
I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.
Apologies for any inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help you.
Did the issue start after upgrading to 24H2?\
Try Resetting your network configuration:
To reset the network in Windows 11, follow these steps:
- Open Windows Settings by pressing Windows key + I on your keyboard.
- Click on "Network & Internet" in the left sidebar.
- Scroll down and click on "Advanced network settings".
- Under the "More settings" section, find and click on "Network reset"
- Click on the "Reset now" button
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Click "Yes" to proceed
- Windows will inform you that your computer will restart in 5 minutes. You can either wait for the automatic restart or close the message and restart manually.
After the restart, Windows will have removed and reinstalled all your network adapters and reset other networking components to their original settings.
Important notes:
- This process will remove all your saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords, so you'll need to reconnect to them manually
- Any custom network settings, such as static IP addresses or VPN configurations, will be reset to default.
- You may need to reinstall networking software like VPN clients after the reset.
If you're still experiencing network issues after this reset, you might want to try more advanced troubleshooting methods, such as resetting the TCP/IP stack using Command Prompt or resetting the Wi-Fi adapter using Device Manager.
Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries. All the best.
