I worked for a company and I am leaving it soon. I will keep my laptop and i already purchased Microsoft business license for my new startup. How can I keep my Windows profile (i have admin privileges) as all my personal apps and softwares are connected with this profile and I do not want to create a new user and start all over again

I am not currently using any of the company servers and will just delete the email account from Outlook on my last day.

Can someone Please help me?

    Thanks for updating me Tarek,

Yes, your computer is joined to a network and you use an AzureAD account. Therefore, you will need to back up your user profile data and transfer them to your local user or your Microsoft account profile.

Please feel free to ask if you have more questions.

    Hi Tarek,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

May I know what Windows edition is currently running on your computer?

Please click Start > Type winver, hit enter > Screenshot it, and post it back.

Also, which license edition did you purchase?

If your License and Windows edition are matched and since your computer is not joined to a domain and don't use any AD account, you only need to activate your Windows with your own license key. Your user profile should remain the same. However, you can backup your C:\Users\Your User Profile folders just in case.
