So, a lot of time, the icon of Microsoft Security change with this yellow panel. And I can't open it via "show hidden icons" from the taskbar, neither from "settings".

Do you know what I sould do ?

Thanks

    Hi Speed60580

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, I understand that you are unable to open Microsoft Security, and I know exactly how you feel!

You can refer to the following website to fix the installation of the Windows Defender security interface.

    https://catalog.s.download.windowsupdate.com/c/msdownload/update/software/defu/2024/02/securityhealthsetup_e16941e14861a6d24750ecdf05c548189b33182a.exe

Update the WINDOWS Defender definition library to the latest version from the following Web site.

Latest security intelligence updates for Microsoft Defender Antivirus and other Microsoft antimalware - Microsoft Security Intelligence

Secondly, please try to fix the issue by non-destructive repair.

    The steps are:

    (1) First download the ISO image file of Windows 11 through the following link.

The link is: Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

    (2) After the ISO file is downloaded, double-click it to open and run “setup.exe”.

    (3) Under the “Install Windows 11” screen, select “Change how the installer downloads updates”.

    (4) Under the “Get Updates, Drivers, and Optional Features” screen, select “Not Now”.

    (5) Follow the instructions to continue.

Please note: If you are prompted to enter a key, the downloaded ISO image file does not match the current system version.

    (6) Under the “Select what to keep” screen, please make sure to select “Keep personal files and applications” so that the contents of your computer will not be affected or lost.

    (7) Start the non-destructive repair.

I sincerely hope that the above solution will solve your problem. Please feel free to contact me if you have any problems or still can't solve them. (Photos related to the question would be great!).

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Best Regards
