Hi All,
I wanted to understand about the .NET updates which will be released
The KB5001849 which was newly released is referenced under KB5001880 why is that?
Also, KB5001880 consists of KB4578950 which was already released previously in February and was referenced under KB4579978
Also is there any Timeline when the .Net updates would be released or is it as and when there are new updates to be released.

But my other question is why the Kbs are presented as Child KBs for another Parent KB

Then you are asking about the details on how Microsoft designs its private patching mechanism, which is very difficult to discuss further due to limited public information. What has been known is that most monthly rollup patches contain many individual patches, so a single patch like KB4578950 might appear in multiple rollups ("This update is included in the Cumulative Update that is dated May 11, 2021. This update was previously released in the Cumulative Update that was dated February 16th, 2021." from KB4578950 itself). About why that's necessary you probably never know (unless a Microsoft engineer reveals a little bit more).
