    Hi Fathia,

Thank you for the response. The information is helpful but where do i find the button or something to trigger the request. I get the first steps: 1. Log in child account 2. Go to account settings. And then what? Is there a button i should look for or something else?

    Hello Rapolas,

To request parental consent for an existing child account, you can follow these steps: First, ensure that you are signed in to your Microsoft account. If the child account was removed from a Family Group and consent was previously revoked, the system should prompt for consent the next time the child signs in. If this does not occur, you can manually trigger a consent request by signing into the child's account and navigating to the account settings. It's important to note that only the adult who originally granted consent can manage or remove it. If you encounter any issues or cannot access the adult account that granted consent, you may need to recover that account first. For detailed guidance, Microsoft Support provides comprehensive resources and step-by-step instructions that can assist you in managing parental consent. If you are still unable to resolve the issue, contacting Microsoft Support directly may provide you with additional assistance tailored to your specific situation. Remember, ensuring the online safety and privacy of children is a top priority, and parental consent plays a crucial role in this process.

    Hope this helps,

    Fathia A
