So recently i’ve started using my PC again to play games with friends

I have 2 DDR3 4gb ram installed dual channeling.

I’ve tried different ram sticks, i’ve tried checking my disk, i’ve tried changing ram slots, i’ve tried checking if there’s issues with my RAM no issues found unsure how to fix.

Sometimes my pc will freeze in half an hour sometimes even an hour or two then it’ll freeze, i’ve fresh installed windows and the ram sticks I currently have in aren’t giving me BSOD anymore. Please help.

Hello there! I am Charity, I'm an Independent Advisor. I'm glad to help you today!

I'm really sorry that happened to you. May I ask if you have monitored your temperature while playing games? AMD FX CPUs can experience thermal throttling. Also, please ensure your power supply unit (PSU) is adequate and stable Since you're using an older computer, it's possible that your power supply has degraded. I would suggest trying a different power supply to isolate the issue.

Please let me know if you have any more questions, I'll do my best to respond as soon as possible.

    Kind Regards,

    Charity

Please note that things might need more than one reply to completely resolve your issue, as it will completely depend on the complexity of the question and the amount of detail that you have provided me.
