Unable to install language pack. Error code 0x800F0950

Question

On my laptop i am unable to install the Danish language pack, which i need for basic spelling correction and other stuff.

I'm getting the error code 0x800F0950.

I have tried all the solutions in this thread https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-and-11-unable-to-install-language-pack/e3695811-7b7b-4ad5-9f88-ff6b76bcbff9

Except, i tried solution 3, and all the Dism commands gave me error code 87, sfc scan said it detected no issues.

Hi Sebandar,

The error code 0x800F0950 can occur due to Windows Update policies.

Please try resetting Windows Update using this batch file:

1. Download the zip file and extract the batch file to the desktop.
2. Right-click on the batch file and click Properties, click "Unblock" (if present), and OK.
3. Double-click the batch file to run it.
4. After it completes execution, don't close it yet.
5. Right-click on that Command Prompt window, click "Edit" and click "Select all"
6. Right-click on that Command Prompt window, click "Edit" and click "Copy" (This copies the output to the clipboard.)
7. Paste the info (Ctrl + V) into your reply window.

when i try and install the language pack again, through windows settings, it doesnt work and gives me the same error code.

When i run the command you gave me, it gives me this:

Please try hyphen instead of underscore.

Run:

Install-Language da-dk

One of the Windows Update policy keys is removed. Please see if you can install the language pack now.

You may also try running the following command from admin PowerShell.
