DPM 2019 Restore Issues

Hi,

So have installed DPM 2019 in a lab never used it before but new job is using this.

I backed up a Hyper V machine and went to restore but the restore failed.

Installed all services packs and still the same. After a bit of working out it was down to the DVD still being attached on the VM. The backup and restore worked once I had disconnected the ISO. So My question is if this type of backup was done is there no way to restore this if the DVD was attached on a backup that was completed.

Looked at the restore option for the Hard disk but that only allows me to restore files out of the image

Any help appreciated
