Disk space issue

I'm experiencing disk space issues with my Dell XPS 13 (Model: 9310, Intel Core i9-11900H, 32GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, Windows 11 Pro). Despite having a relatively large SSD, I'm constantly running low on disk space.

Symptoms include:

  • Low disk space warnings
  • Slow performance
  • Inability to install updates or software
  • Frequent "Out of disk space" error messages

I've tried:

  1. Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmentation
  2. Uninstalling unused software
  3. Deleting temporary files and system files
  4. Checking for disk errors with CHKDSK
  5. Disabling hibernation and system restore

However, the available disk space continues to dwindle. What further troubleshooting steps or tools can I use to identify and resolve these disk space issues? Are there any hidden system files or folders consuming excessive space? Could there be a configuration issue or malware causing this problem?

Hi Ahmed_Da, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

You may use the free tool below to easily determine which folder is utilizing your disk space.

After installation, right-click on the app and select Run as administrator.
