I recently ran into an error

I normally turned it off

But when i turned it on again i got 0cx0000185 error

I tried to re install windows on c without formating

But failed so i installed it on a different drive

However when it got done it started fixing drives.

Its taking to long just checked or fixed 2 of my 4 drives after about 30 hours

Should i wait for it to be done or skip disk fixing?

Thank you for the screenshot, that is currently checking Drive E, and is only at stage 2 of the process, it would be safer to wait for that to reach stage 4 before restarting your PC, then if the disk checking starts again, press any key to cancel the Disk Checking and then check if you can access your data on that E drive.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

It is safe to stop the disk checking in phases 4 and 5 of the process but not in phases 1, 2 or 3, that may corrupt the drive.

Please provide a photo of the screen showing the details of that disk checking, it would be unusual if it is automatically checking more than one disk.
