Device network problem with HyperV

Question

I have a laptop with Windows 10 Pro for Workstations and after installing HyperV and creating VM, my network speed went down drastically. When I create a virtual network device Hyper V creates a Bridge, after that my speed is affected in VM and Host also. I uninstall HyperV and my network speed went back to normal.

Normal download speed: 200 mbps, upload speed: 90 mbps
Affected download speed: 30 mbps, upload speed: .7 mbps

Wireless device is more affected than wired device, but both are affected.

Can you help me?

Hi Alejandro,
Based on your description, since the creation is correct, and there’s no problem with the wired network, maybe you should check the hardware.
Would you check the router and see if there’s any problem?

Hi,
Based on your description, I’m assuming that this issue might concern virtual switches. Did you use any external switch so that the VMs would have access to the internet?

Also try turning Hyper-V manager off if you don’t need it.
