Does the Microsoft store Automatically update programs

HI I was wanting to ask a question about the Microsoft Store and Windows 11 24h2 for home. I was wanting to now does anything that I am using in the store. For examle I use spotify from the microsoft store right now does spotify update automatically or do I have to manually update it. the reason I am asking is because it was acquired through the store 2018-09-28. The version I have is: 1.2.48.405.gf52c48e6f

Windows 11 64 bit operating system.

version: 24h2

installed: 2024-10-10

Os build: 26100.2033

Hi Howard, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

It looks like you have the latest version of the app. However, you can still check if 'App updates' in Microsoft Store settings is enabled to automatically update apps (see the image below). You may also check the app page if it will show an Update button so you can update it manually.
