- Did you install any updates to your computer recently?
To troubleshoot the issue,
- On the Windows sign-in screen, press and hold the Shift key while you select Power > Restart.
- Upon reboot, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Select 'System Restore'.
This option takes your PC back to an earlier point in time.
If you are unable to log in even after the system restore process, you can try other options like Safe mode (or) Startup repair to fix the error.
If nothing helps, proceed with system re-installation. On the recovery screen, select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC > Keep my files and proceed with local re-installation.
