Is the PC's network cable directly connected to the router's LAN port or is it connected to it through the Ethernet wall jack or some other device? Run the troubleshooter and report the Windows message or post a screenshot.

Specify the exact make and model of your computer or go to Start, type msinfo and attach a screenshot of the System Information page. Go to Device Manager expand network adapters post the screenshot.

Hi Mouamen, I'm John, a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand you're having issues with your PC and Ethernet connection. I'm here to help. Can you tell me a little more about the issue?

It sounds like you’ve been struggling with this issue for a while. Have you been unable to get Ethernet to work since you bought your PC?

Please try following the full troubleshooting steps in this Microsoft support article: "Fix Ethernet connection problems in Windows" https://support.microsoft.com/windows/fix-ether... You’ll need another spare Ethernet cable for this test, and it might also be helpful to try your current Ethernet cable with another PC if you have one available.

Click "Reply" below to let me know how it goes. If the issue persists, please provide more details by answering my questions.

    John J.D.

Thank you for going to the trouble of sending this reply. However, it did not relate to my problem, which concerned the ability to use certain apps on my phone that might involve printing some matter via HP Smart.
