Huge Viso Diagram cannot print

I have created a huge (55MB) Visio diagram (an extensive aviation systems safety fault tree) that is about 1 metre x 1 metre.
I want to print it on my A2 printer as multiple overlapping A2 sheets.
It works as multiple A4 overlapping sheets (loads of them) but fails when I try A2 it only creates parts (strips) of the image.
My A2 Printer (an EPSON P900) prints A2 from other software without problems it seems to be a limitation when the visio software attempts to "cut" the large image up into A2 parts and not a printer driver or printer related issue. My guess it that it is a visio memory management issue when it tries to split for printing into A2 sized parts.

So I wanted to know if if was possible to export the file into multiple overlapping PDF, JPG or PNG files. The huge chart has many illustrative images which would create a massive single PDF file but perhaps that is the solution since Adode has good "poster" printing capabilities. I managed to export to a 10000x10000 jpg file but I am havingifficulty finding a program that will split it into A2 chunks on printing...

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @BRIAN HICKLING ,

What version of Visio are you using?

Based on your description, I tested it on my Visio Pro 2019 and found that the largest printer paper size currently supported in Visio is A3. How did you print A2 paper in Visio?

<< As far as I know, you may not be able to save it as multiple JPG or PNG files. For exporting the file into multiple PDFs, you could have a try but the overlapping range may need to control manually by yourself.
For more information about saving Visio diagrams as PDF, you could refer to Save a Visio diagram as a graphic or image file.

Besides, here are two articles about the "poster" in Adobe, I think they may be helpful to you, please have a check.
    Print an oversized document
Print posters and banners using Acrobat or Reader
