Hi,

Please see attached.

The camera or drivers seems not work on HP 850 G8 laptop.

I have reinstalled windows and ran all updates. Camera only worked for a few days and the same error happened again.

I did check other forums and tried a registry fix, camera (see attachment) would open for a few seconds and stop working with the same error and it won't display on device manager.

I have also taken the laptop to test the hardware and confirmed the actual camera and cable are all working fine.

Other stuff done is BIOS updates and HP drivers updates. Contacted HP and they insist on reinstalling OS again.

    If the issue persists, what is your current Windows version and operating system? Press Windows key+R to open Run then type: winver

    Press Enter
