system device cannot be found

I bought a SSD to replace my HD in Dell laptop. I migrated OS from HD to SSD with DiskGenius. I pulled out HD and inserted SSD. I started the laptop and received stop code: inaccessible boot device. I can see the drive when I use DiskGenius bootable usb. Command prompt in WinRE found the Windows 10installation but when I tried to add it to the boot list it failed. I received this message: "the required system device cannot be found". Thoughts or fixes greatly appreciated!

I havent used DG, but if you have the free version it may not function to clone to a new HD

I use EaseUS paid for have have no issues, after a clone you immediately shutdown, replace the HD then boot
