Hi Community!

I am facing the issues while opening the VS code remote connection to WSL. I am seeing the logs in the terminal "Failed create /path/.vscode-server/bin/38c31bc77e0dd6ae88a4e9cc93428cc27a56ba40. Make sure all VSCode WSL windows are closed and try again."

I have tried deleting the "/path/.vscode-server" but I couldn't due to "read-only file system" error. I tried a lot to changing the permission but it failed. Kindly help me on this issue. Thanks in advance !

    Hi Mathivanan,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

See if there is an update available on WSL using

    wsl —update

    command.

If not, feel free to ask the WSL forums by opening a ticket on the WSL GitHub repository, as we only support end-consumer questions for Windows. I hope you understand!

Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries. All the best.
