Use the features you have been told about here and maintain your computer.

Reboot your devices, I reboot my devices once a week.

Check for and install updates. I do this for both Dell and Microsoft updates and all devices on my home network.

Here are updates that I received this past week and installed. An update for my new Epson printer, my Samsung S24+ cell phone and a BIOS update from Dell for my desktop computer. I have received and installed the monthly updates provided by Microsoft. This image shows the one installed today.

This kind of feature is already available in Windows 11 v23H2. See Settings / System / Recovery.

They already have ways to do what you are asking. Visit a good bookstore, in person or online and look for books on repairing computers.

Check out, Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Tools.

System Restore is often an effective way to return a computer back to a time when it was working correctly.

Then there's that time when you just need a new computer!

I own Dell computers and Dell provides Support Assist that I run once a week.
