I bought a brand new Acer Aspire 7, but when I turned it on it's stuck on EFI shell version 2.70, I tried the exit command but the only option is UEFI_SHELL, it also says that blk1 and blk2 are "null"

Should I return it? Or is there any way to fix it?

    Hello, Forgotten_927

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I have carefully read the information and problem description you provided. You mentioned that you get stuck in the EFI Shell interface when booting up the computer.

I understand the trouble this problem has caused you, and I hope to give you some suggestions. Your problem involves BIOS-related settings. I hope to solve your problem, but since the BIOS settings of each motherboard manufacturer are different, we cannot provide you with professional advice.

Considering that you have just purchased a new computer, such a problem should not occur. The reason I can think of may be that the manufacturer did not debug the computer before it left the factory. In order to protect your consumer rights, I suggest that you directly return the product and ask them to provide a computer that can successfully enter Windows.

    Best regards
