Windows 11 CTRL Key not working

Hi

I have a Lenovo yoga 530.

Ever since updating to windows 11, my CTRL keys do not work. I have tried with an external keyboard, carried out diagnostics etc also, and still does not work.

The only way CTRL works is if I open the on-screen keyboard, or use the touch screen keyboard. This is not a practical long term solution for me. Not to mention the shortcut for the on-screen keyboard requires the use of the CTRL button, which obviously does not work!

Any other suggestiosns?

Thanks in advance.

Hello there! I am Charity, I'm an Independent Advisor. I'm glad to help you today!

My apologies about that. Please try rolling back Windows update if possible.

Open Settings by pressing Windows + I.

Go to Update & Security, then select View Update History.

Click Uninstall updates and find the most recent update (look at the date).

Right-click on it and choose Uninstall, then restart your computer.

    To pause future updates:

In Update & Security, select Pause updates for 7 days to prevent the update from reapplying automatically. You can extend this period in Advanced options.

    Kind Regards,

    Charity
