Good evening

I have been having issues over the past month with my desk top. every 30 minutes - 2 hours my PC will blue screen and give a stop code. i have gotten many different stop codes such as (UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE TRAP; IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL; BSOD ATTEMPTED WRITE TO READ ONLY MEMORY) and a few others that i did not document. it started off slow so i didn't pay it much attention at first only happening about once a day but now happens much more often. i have tried cleaning components inside of the PC and reseating the RAM, i have attempted to update all of my drivers and i even did a complete reset of the PC starting from factory settings. since the total reset i have re upped all of my drivers and updated the bios of my mother board, verified that windows is fully updated and have been watching component temps while using the PC. no over heating has been noted. i have attached a link to the latest mini dump files any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time. V/R Colby B.

Hi Colby, thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today, my timezone is UTC +8.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, upon analyzing and checking the DMP files, the error you have is GenuineIntel.sys, this is a processor error it is either the processor is getting hardware errors or it is overheating, moreover kindly follow the steps below for us to fix the issue:

Method 1. Run Intel Diagnostic tool:

    Go to this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/downloa...

Then download and run the tool.

Suppose there is any failure on the test. In that case, that means there is a hardware issue on your processor, which needs to contact Intel support or a local technician on the next step, which might be a processor replacement or board depending on the diagnosis on the hardware.

Note: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

    Method 1. Do clean boot:

A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
    • On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
    • Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
    • Close Task Manager.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.

Method 2. Run memory diagnostic tool: The memory diagnostic tool is a RAM test to check if there are any RAM issues.

    • Press Windows key + R then type in mdsched.exe hit OK then restart the device.

Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the processor or do a re-pasting of thermal paste to optimize the processor.

Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps.

    Bernard

    Good evening!

Thank you for responding and offering assistance! I updated the chipset device driver like you recommended. it does not appear like it fixed the issue tho. I was not near my PC when the blue screen happened so i did not see the error code this time. but it did reset once again. i have attached the 2 most recent minidump files as well as the original minidump files to be reviewed. let me know if i can provide any additional details that might help with the trouble shooting of this issue. Thank you again for the help and i look forward to hearing back from you!

    V/R Colby B.

Hello, and thanks for reaching out! I'm Nals, and I'll be happy to assist you today.

Your minidump files show that "GenuineIntel.sys," which is the Intel chipset device driver, is responsible for the system crashes.

Please visit your PC manufacturer’s support page to download and install the recommended version of the chipset drivers. While you’re there, check for any necessary BIOS updates as well.

If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I'm here to help!

    Best regards,

    Nals
