    Hi Yvette,

My name is Igor, it's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll try to help you.

Please tell how exactly you bought this license, what kind the license is, how may did you pay.

Please show Activation page of Settings and the result of slmgr /dlv command.

... I installed a new motherboard and processor ... and now windows can't activate.

For the purposes of activation, a computer with a new motherboard and processor is considered a new computer, and a new computer needs a new license. I'm sorry, but you'll need to purchase a new copy of Windows and do a clean install. Since Microsoft stopped selling Windows 10 on January 31, 2023 (and Windows 10 will be unsupported in a year) you should purchase Windows 11.

With a new motherboard and processor, your computer likely meets the hardware requirements for Windows 11, but you should check to be sure.

    Congratulations on the new hardware.
